Kaya bun

Supposedly to be applied only on toast and no place else with butter in tow. Has now reached a zenith where it is put into buns and sold. Gone are the coffee ; gone are the boiled eggs that goes with it.

Whatever happened to tradition. To the things it is supposed to be. As in who moved my cheese, a couple of rats are fighting for survival in a maze but their food supply keeps on changing. Bring back the things that are used to be.

Time keeps on changing and we change along with it. The olden way of doing things are gone and good. As in the rats in ‘who moved my cheese’ , those who can’t keep up are to be left with the old and forgotten. We cannot, dream of the day where we do things our way.

Not being able to keep up with the times, we’ll get ostracised by time itself. Tradition are to be kept. That is fine in itself. You keep an eye on tradition, yet at the same time, look out for anything new. Accepting the new, embracing the new stuff and neglecting anything that is not in with the times.

Kaya toast, kaya bun and now kaya mochi,Japanese glutinous balls, are all the rage and is equally acceptable to the palate. We should be people who is accepting everything like the old, the new and sometimes throwing away old stuff that are not in tune with the rest.
