Reaching your peak; there’s many understanding to it. You can, in sports, reach your peak in a years period, yes, that’s what we are going to speak about today. Reaching your peak in sports. If for no reason at all you began to reach 9:12 minutes for your 2.4km run, you know what I am saying. There are many types of peak at all and I’ve seen some really odd peaks.

How come he’s always doing better than me? How come, strike for stroke, he’s better than me? Those unanswered questions are best not meddled with. Let sleeping dogs lie. Let it be; can be said so. But is he necessarily better than me in actuality? That’s remains to be seen. As ACJC mottos is ,’ the best is yet to be’.

I’ve always wondered how I run so fast. During my 1.6 km and 2.4 km runs. It’s always after my nationals school meet where I’ve often met more than my match. And breathless and monstrously tired, I stood there watching my crown gets taken, or stolen, should I say? And after that, I performed my best in an endurance test. Which is weeks or months later. My peak, has just come to passed.

During your peak, you can very accurately gauge the time well, and sometimes, somebody accused me of cheating, that I almost never does. The field appears to be greener, and the threats of the coaches always seemed to fade away. When you are at your peak, there’s no such a thing as pain. Just doing your best, yet, it is never enough.

I’ve just beaten another guy in Junior college in my 2.4km run and he accused me of cheating, well, fine and Ho, he just fallen into my traps of letting me embellish myself a little. He even threatened to report me to the head of disciplinary. And all I could do is chuckle, at his foolishness. But all that is in the past now. The head of disciplinary never gets a word Nor I ever gets punished for a crime I did not do.

The peak is just so, for two weeks, or more or less, you feel like a Superman. Every endurance event seemed so easy.
